A young and dynamic Chicago based studio growing globally is seeking a first class Business Development Manager to join their sales team and help underpin its rapid growth. This incredible opportunity is one of the most exciting, interesting and challenging roles for an experienced business developer. The studio intends to expand aggressively to capitalize on its many advantages and emerge with a worldwide commanding market share. 

Requirements

·         The successful Business Development Managers will establish and develop relationships with target organizations, new and existing, with the aim to secure commitment and maximize the delivery of services.

·         As part of a small business development team your  task will be to create and develop new opportunities within US market (please note that this role is mostly an office based role)

·         You will prepare and implement marketing strategies to generate and maintain increased sales in these markets

·         You will be hands-on, creating and maintaining a database of information, developing knowledge of your market and creating leads.

·         You will be responsible for identifying and/or creating new business opportunities through networking, cold-calling and when necessary making presentations to new and existing clients

·         You will support and explore existing client account relationships to maintain and grow sales

·         You will report directly to the Managing Director on all business development activity

he ideal candidate:

·         Should have a working knowledge of the advertising industry, proven ability to secure and then effectively manage high profile and value key partners 

·         First class negotiation and influencing skills - able to work at all levels and be able to influence and steer partner decisions 

·         Strong communication and planning skills and the ability to prioritize effectively 

·         Must have a proven business development track record, be self motivated and self disciplined

·         Will need to show confident sales skills and creative thinking in the capture of New Business

·         Should provide examples of vision and planning, achieving positive results and winning business

·         Excellent presentation, public speaking skills and networking skills

·         Should have a proven track record of building long-standing business relationships

·         Must have excellent written and oral communication skills

·         Multilingual capabilities would be useful
