Freelance Digital Artist

visualhouse is revered as one of the world’s leading creative design communications agencies, innovating and inspiring in London and New York.

visualhouse is looking for the most ambitious and talented local freelance digital artists, across a wide range of titles, Lead 2D graphic designers, Lead 3D artists, Digital matte painters, Senior Nuke Compositors, Senior After Effects, Artists Interactive developers, to work on high profile projects in our London and New York offices.

Candidates will have at least 3-5 years’ experience in there select field. Candidates must be based within the UK or US and able to work locally in our studios.

Requirements

We’re looking for freelance artists with the following,

· An excellent eye for art, composition and imagery

· Excellent Photoshop skills

· Excellent knowledge of Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop

· Typographic skill

· Ability to work within a team

· Excellent verbal and written communicative skills

· Attention to detail and ability to work in a highly productive environment

· An excellent eye for art, composition and imagery

· Good knowledge of composition, colour, perspective, depth and light

· Excellent Photoshop skills

· Knowledge of 3-D modelling, visual effects and animation

· Fluent in Autodesk 3ds max software

· In depth knowledge of V-Ray

· Experience shooting photography for Visualisations

· Understanding of VFX pipeline

· Ability to work within a team

· A strong creative vision and concept for development

· Excellent verbal and written communicative skills

· Attention to detail and ability to work in a highly productive environment

· Advanced level of knowledge compositing 3D elements

· An excellent eye for art, composition and imagery

· Excellent Photoshop skills

· Knowledge of 3-D modelling, visual effects and animation

· Understanding of VFX pipeline

· Ability to work within a team

· Excellent verbal and written communicative skills

· Attention to detail and ability to work in a highly productive environment

· An excellent eye for art, composition and imagery

· Advanced Nuke

· Good knowledge of composition, colour, perspective, depth and light

· Understanding of VFX pipeline

· Ability to work within a team

· Understanding of architecture and design

· A strong creative vision and concept for development

· Advanced level of knowledge compositing 3D elements

· Attention to detail and ability to work in a highly productive environment

· Excellent verbal and written communicative skills

· Advanced After Effects

· Strong motion graphics design skills in After Effects and CS

· Understanding of VFX pipeline

· Good knowledge of composition, colour, perspective, depth and light

· An excellent eye for art, composition and imagery

· Advanced level of knowledge compositing 3D elements

· Front end web design

· Need excellent working knowledge of: CakePHP, jQuery, CSS, HMTL 5, Javascript and App developing

· Ability to work within a team

· Passion for architecture and design

· Excellent verbal and written communicative skills

Desired Skills / Extras

Candidates based in the UK will be required to work in our London studio.

Candidates based in the US will be required to work in our New York studio.

Eligibility to work in the UK and US is essential.

All positions are on a freelance/contract basis.
