Generalist Developer
Description
The Comedy Central animated TV series, "South Park," is looking for an experienced software generalist for production. Ideal applicant
will have 2 to 5 years programming experience in a production
environment -- animation, visual effects or video games preferred.
Requirements
Position
requires a broad base of technical skills and ongoing learning in all
aspects of production including artist tools, pipeline development and
in-house applications.
Position
requires ability to research, develop and troubleshoot high-performing
code with limited oversight. Applicant should feel comfortable
suggesting and creating production solutions as well as interacting with
artists and producers to provide technical aid. Applicant should be
comfortable working with code they didn't author and be able to remain
flexible in the face of a challenging production environment.
During episode production, schedule may include some second and third shift hours.
