Lake Effect Applications, LLC – Syracuse, NY 13202

Lake Effect Applications is seeking highly motivated 3D Artists to help design and create 3D action games for the mobile device market. Job responsibilities include working with a team to design and build 3D levels and assets. 3D Artists may also be tasked with the design and creation of 2D user interface elements.

Requirements

  • Ability to model and texture 3D environments and vehicles
  • Superior eye for light, color and detail
  • Self-motivated, good communication skills, and a team-player attitude
  • Passionate about game design and production
  • Bachelors or Associates degree in fine art, graphic design or related field

Desired Skills / Extras

  • Ability to design and concept 3D game worlds
  • Proficiency with Autodesk 3DS, Maya and Photoshop
  • Experience with Unity 3D game developemt tool
  • Previously worked on one or more PC, console or mobile games as a 3D artist
