Game Data Programmer

Overview:

As a member of our engineering team, our Game Data Programmer will take a production role within game development teams directly and reporting to the studio's Technical Director. The primary function of this role is to guarantee the integrity and reliability of the data reported from games.  

Responsibilities:

This role is in charge of following up that the tracking standards are correctly established and dispatched to the game teams. This role is responsible for synchronizing all the teams of the project to ensure that trackers are correct and that the client side libraries are properly integrated within the game.  

 

This role will serve as point of contact for any questions about trackers and will evaluate existing procedures for tracking and reporting data, maintain and support the library, (including documentation and direct support to game teams) and analyze competitors analytics solutions for ways to improve our own.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Experienced with commercial mobile analytic tools, such as Google Analytics, Flurry
  • Professional experience in game development or game programming a major plus
  • C++ programming skill required for iOS client app development
  • SQL/database knowledge  is required  to check the data server side when needed
  • Python knowledge to create scripts to run SQL queries
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Passion for video games a plus
