We will be recruiting at Siggraph in Vancouver for our upcoming seasonal Fall/Winter hiring cycles and our next slate of films!

Stereo D is the recognized leader in high-quality conversions of 2D theatrical content into stereoscopic 3D imagery. Formed in 2009 and acquired by Deluxe Entertainment Services Group Inc. in 2011, the company works with major motion picture studios, directors, cinematographers, and VFX supervisors to bring their vision of 3D storytelling to the screen. Stereo D has completed work for such films as TITANIC in 3D, THE AVENGERS, AVATAR, CAPTAIN AMERICA, and JACKASS 3D. About  this  position:

The Producer is required to manage all aspects of a show, not limited to the initial breakdown and bid, planning and scheduling of resources, managing the team and monitoring their work during the conversion process. The Producer is responsible for ensuring that the production delivers on time and within the budget in delivering both small and large-scale conversion projects.  They will liaise with the client and manage this relationship.

Responsibilities  include:

  •  Responsible for the overall successful management, execution and delivery of both small and large-scale conversion projects.
  • Client management including reviews, reporting, scheduling and troubleshooting concerns.
  • Collaborate with Stereographer to oversee film’s schedule and creative direction.
  • Set overall project priorities and milestones to meet.
  • Collaborate with DI Producer in regards to delivery pipeline and schedule.
  • Communicate daily updates to Studio contacts, Client and Stereo D Senior Management during delivery.
  • Working with Studios, Vendors, Producers, Directors, Supervisors and Heads of Department to communicate goals and direction of the show.

Qualifications include:
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience within the visual effects/post production industry with Producing experience required.
  • Highly motivated and works well with a team of executive management, production supervisors and coordinators, and all artists on show.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of talented production managers, supervisors and artists.
  • Superior client management skills including clear and effective communication and managing and clarifying expectations such as budget and show schedule. 
  • Experience with production tracking software and Nuke software ideal.
  • Excellent listening, writing and presentation skills with attention to detail.
  • Proven track record in project management.
  • Capable of motivating and leading teams on various projects with excellent leadership skills, confidence and clarity.
