Graphic Designer

GadLight is looking for a Graphic Production Designer who is self motivated and creative to join our dynamic multidisciplinary product development team.  You will be part of a small team where each member has significant impact on the final product design.

Qualifications:

·         Minimum 2+ years of experience

·         Must have a keen eye for design and pay attention to detail

·         Strong creative and conceptual skills

·         Expertise in all Adobe Creative Suite programs

·         Self-motivated, good communicator, comfortable with following direction and able to balance great design with short deadlines

·         Strong typography skills is a must

·         Experience with Flash, Fireworks, and/or video a plus

·         Experience in web design and mobile app is a plus

Responsibilities:

·         Device GUI creation: create user centric and appealing graphic design for devices, generate graphic assets for UI engineers/developers to implement and manage them. Experience with wireframes is a plus.

·         All aspects of graphic design in developing a product: Logos, packaging design, manuals and etc.

·         Create presentations, video clips and photography for products and prototypes to support marketing and advertising team.

GadLight is a product development firm located in La Jolla, CA. Candidates must be able to work on site.
