2D Artist

Description

We are looking for a 2D Artist with specialization in Flash and a midlevel qualification to join our team. This artist will be our Flash specialist creating, integrating and delivering flash assets into the art pipelines.

Responsibilities:

Under the direction or our Art Director, the Flash specialist 2D Artist will:

Be responsible for setting up and creating character vector art in flash from concept art.
Coordinate with art director and designers to develop the vector art for the game characters.
Help establish the system to allow for a highly customizable character set that is required for the project.
Create game ready animations.
Understanding of action scripts and ability to collaborate with engineers to integrate assets into game.
Be a positive team influence and an inspiration to others.

Qualifications:

This is a midlevel role, or could be a senior for the right applicant.

Minimum of 2 years of full-time, professional, in-house game development experience in mobile games
Strong expertise with Flash animation and ActionScript
Ability to problem solve and understand their role and how it fits into the pipeline
Great Communication skills
Ability to problem solve creatively and communicate well with all disciplines
Positive attitude and love for games
