Entertainment Research Analyst

Overview:

We are looking for a Entertainment Research Analyst to be Gameloft’s go-to person for what’s happening in the entertainment and the gaming landscape. As part of the Production Research Team, the Entertainment Research Analyst will uncover, analyze and predict trends relevant to the company’s interests. This spans everything from films, to television, music, pop culture, publishing and beyond. If you are naturally passionate about the world around you and have an eye for up-and-coming hits, this is the job for you.

Responsibilities:
  • Be the “go-to” expert on entertainment trends for the company
  • Liaise with HQ counterparts to establish intelligence reports
  • Publish weekly or bi-weekly reports on current and new trends
  • Utilize both quantitative and qualitative methods to track consumer behavior and attitudes
  • Present findings and acquisition proposals to upper management
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Psychology, Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, HCI, Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or other relevant field
  • 2-3 years’ experience in research, consumer insights, or quant-focused role
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint
  • Strong personal interest in entertainment, pop culture, media**
  • Working knowledge of gaming landscape including mobile games
  • Professional experience in Entertainment or Technology field(s)**
  • Experiencing managing or liasing with research vendors and/or clients
  • Experience with survey design and development
  • Comfortable presenting findings to senior management
  • Strong design and presentation aesthetic
