Game Designer Intern

Description

We are looking for emerging mobile game designers for Winter 2014 & Summer 2015 internships! Our leading internship programs feature hands-on experience with the development team. After training, intern game designers are tasked with small, bite-sized design tasks and receive personalized mentoring from industry veterans. Our intern game designers hone their skills in, 2D & 3D authoring tool knowledge, 2D & 3D level design knowledge, game design document creation, game research and analysis. Most earn credit on a professional game title before they leave, thanks to our short development cycles.

 

Our program is highly selective and competitive, and we regularly hire entry-level game designers out of our internship program. If you want to find out if you have what it takes to be a professional game designer in today's market, we want to hear from you. 

Responsibilities:
  • Capture video games on video
  • Write reviews of video games
  • Help team of designer’s script game levels
  • Play test of levels
  • Assist with level and tutorial design

Gameloft US internships are paid.

Qualifications:
  • Current rising senior or graduate level student in Game Design at an accredited university
  • Excellent academic record and portfolio
  • Excellent knowledge of current mobile games market, our company, and our competitors
  • Passion for creating video games
  • Excellent communication skills - both listening and presenting

 

Qualified candidates will be required to take a technical assessment.
