Python Developer

Our beautiful New York City studio is adding a Python Developer to use scripting and data analysis / data mining skills to execute anti-hacking measures in our mobile video games. This person will be responsible for analyzing on recent security threats and research on countermeasures for mobile game. Monitoring game server activities to identify current or potential security issues. Check tracking data to identify legal and none-legal activities results in reduce revenue.

• Perform daily check on security threats and respond with countermeasures on client devices and servers

• Research on malicious-code-related technologies (including its collection, analysis, and countermeasure)

• Analyze the attacking method of a new or mutant kind of malicious code and their reproduction

• Analyze malicious code in the reverse engineering, OS kernel, and assembly level environments

• Research on countermeasure against recently occurring malicious codes (such as new viruses, worm, backdoor, and some others)

• Security assessment on information system and research on its protection strategies

• Analyze security vulnerability of cloud infra and virtual environment (such as Citrix, VMWare) and research on its protection strategies

• Analyze vulnerability of legacy systems (such as MIS, ERP) and assess their safety

• Analyze vulnerability of production management system (such as PLM and MES) and assess their safety

• Analyze vulnerability of file and document management system and research on countermeasure against information leakage threat

• Security solution safety assessment

• Penetration test for various security solutions (End Point Protection, DRM, DB Encryption, Access Control, and some others)

• Penetration test for security equipment and business environment (Firewall, IDS, IPS, Mobile Device Management (MDM), and some others)

•  In memory data searching skill. Know which memory location can directly or indirectly affect game mechanic. Able to use existing tools to find unencrypted data in memory and modify.
• Ability to indirectly find weak encrypted data in memory and modify memory for hacking.
• Disk file analysis skill. Need to know where data located on device and able to find and replace or hijack unencrypted files such as png, swf, txt files.
• Able to analysis encrypted resource data package format to dump out files and replace them to providing unfair advantages.Ability to indirectly find weak encrypted data in memory and modify memory for hacking.
• Knowledge of Assembly, C++, Java, Python, SQL
• Experience with mobile game development
