Job Description:

In April 2014 we released Tales of Honor for iOS and Android.  This free to play sci-fi strategy game has you leading your crew through a series of heart-stopping naval battles across the outer reaches of space. It has been Featured by Apple twice.

In August 2014 we released Qube Kingdom for iOS and Android. It is a free to play tower defense that features voxel characters as the towers and monsters. It has been Featured by Apple and Android.

We have small live teams continuing to add features and content to both games.  We are looking for a designer who would love to join this team.  The person that we're looking for is well organized, self-motivated, mathematically inclined and passionate about games.  Work will include Content Creation, Balancing, Feature Design, Live Support and other areas. 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with client, programmers and artists on new features and content
• Maintain live content and game balance
• Demonstrate and apply strong problem-solving, mathematically based solutions
• Manage Excel data tables
• Communicate effectively with management
• Perform related duties as necessary

Minimum qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of Excel including formulas  
• Ability to self-direct and prioritize tasks
• Communicate your perspective with respect
• Must eat, sleep and breathe games

Pluses:

• Bachelor’s Degree (prefer: Game Design, Mathematics or equivalent)
• 1-2 years Game Industry experience
• Shipped titles and live ops a huge plus
• Scripting or programming languages (particularly VBA); Unity or other game engine
