Gameplay Programmer

We are looking for motivated and skilled Gameplay Programmers to join our talented and friendly programming staff.  You will create new next generation mobile video games as well as maintain live services for existing successful mobile game projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop 2D and 3D games for multiple mobile platforms
  • Debug and optimize game code running on device
  • Create gameplay systems based on requests from design team
  • Work with art team to add visual polish and flare
  • Build tools to help other disciplines in their work
  • Write unit tests where appropriate
  • Produce clear, relevant documentation
  • Work and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical people
Qualifications:

The right candidate for this role must have a solid technical and game development background. Essential skill requirements for this position include:

  • Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, preferably focused on game development
  • Excellent programming skills in C/C++
  • 2+ years of professional experience programming in C++
  • 1+ years of experience in game development (hobby development experience may qualify)
  • Experience in core engine development, networking, mobile development, or tools development
  • Excellent communication skills: active listening, accessible verbal and written presentation, and ability to describe technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Experience working in large code bases with other programmers
  • Comfortable in an Agile development environment
  • Keen personal interest in video games with a solid knowledge of the field

All qualified candidates must pass a technical test as part of the interview process for this role.
