Required Skills & Responsibilities:
* Conduct analysis to determine graphic/animation requirements for educational purposes
* Create superior, original motion graphic designs and animations
* Design animations and motion graphics for educational purposes adhering to researched animation principles
* Develop Storyboards, Sketches, and Layouts
* Maintain organization and communication in a team setting
* Provide final delivery elements on time in various formats
* Achieve business goals appropriate for the university
* Employ a variety of animation techniques and styles from 2-D to 3-D
* Work consecutively on multiple assignments
* Self-motivated, disciplined, fast-learner, organized
* Use best practices in software/animation development
* Assists in general editorial technical duties
* Ability to manage and archive project files and backups
* Excellent communication and team player
Technical expertise: After Effects and Adobe Production Suite, 3D Studio Max (or similar), Adobe Media Encoder, Final Cut Studio (or similar), Quick Time Pro, GameMaker, Unity.
Preferred Specialized Skills:
* Master’s degree preferred;
* Familiarity with researched design principles for educational purposes
* Familiarity with 2D/3D workflow pipeline
* Experience working with clients/customers on complex projects.
