VFX Producer

We are currently looking for a VFX Producer to join our growing Broadcast VFX Department, to Produce and manage budgets and schedules that take into account the VFX work required, ensuring that the project is completed to the highest standard achievable.

 

The right candidate for this role would have previous experience in a similar role, excellent client relationship and crew/project management skills, and experience with and understanding of the financial side of post-production. To be successful in this role, the ability to create and manage a post-production budget is a necessity.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Produce and manage budgets and schedules.
  • Liaise with clients.
  • Correspond with clients via bids, reports, approval documents, cash-flow, change orders etc.
  • Manage project milestones and deliveries in accordance with the implemented schedule.
  • Support/work with the VFX Manager to create master and delivery schedules for the production.
  • Liaise with Resources team and other key support departments.
  • Provide verbal and written progress reports to clients, management and internal teams every week.
  • Work closely with the Sales team to assist with new project bids.

Qualifications:

  • Previous Producing or Project Management experience.
  • Highly organised with first-class time/project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent client and crew management skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritise conflicting tasks.
  • Proven ability to manage high revenue budgets.
  • Ability to remain calm and confident in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work within a team towards a common goal.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office packages (including Word, Excel and Project) and ability to adapt to new software.
