Animation Art Director

Job Description:
Oversees implementation of established art direction into a wide range of art and animation. Provides exemplary art work to clarify creative intent. Generates artwork in areas of specialization which may include character, environment, props, textures, mood, lighting, and story concepts. Participates in setting lighting and design infrastructure. Accountable for on time, on budget execution and delivery. Manages research and development activities that supports the Director’s vision. Reviews and adjusts assigned art/technical content to meet creative direction. Interacts with Sr. production leadership to understand and clarify creative direction and keep abreast of plans impacting assigned sequences.

Requirements:
Knowledge of relevant software including Photoshop. Experience with Maya or Katana a plus. Minimum requirement of 10+ years production experience or feature film experience preferred.
