Purchasing & Asset Management Officer
Description
We are currently searching for an enthusiastic Purchasing &
Asset Management Officer to join our IT division. This role will be responsible
for the efficient and accurate running of the purchase and asset management
function by organizing all required departmental purchasing, inventory
management and asset tracking.

To be suitable for this role the successful candidate will possess
the following:
- Excellent
customer service/helpdesk skills
- Some
understanding of IT Hardware Systems
- Experience
with using either Microsoft Windows and Macintosh
- Experience
with and ability to maintain filing and database systems
- Understanding
of Inventory management systems including barcode scanners
- Ability
to respond to multiple urgent requests in an orderly manner
- High
level of attention to detail
- Professional
attitude and demonstrated initiative and
analytical skills
- Strong
interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Candidates with the following skills are encouraged to apply:
- Experience
with the purchasing cycle: invoice checking, asset tracking, delivery checking,
reconciliation and liaising with suppliers
- Experience
with implementing processes and procedures
- Understanding
of project management
- Experience
with software/hardware/licensing ordering
- Proficient
with FileMaker Pro
