Summary:

JibJab Bros Studios is looking for a talented, motivated and self-sufficient Lighter - Compositor that can take our 3D animation, special effects, live action, and 2D animation and create a beautiful final image. The ideal candidate cares about the integrity of final design aesthetics, performance and overall user experience, and is highly technical when it comes to troubleshooting issues with renders. The right candidate is primarily a problem solver capable of working self-sufficiently with meticulous attention to detail while balancing dozens of tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

• Light and composite CG shots to match standards of creative direction
• Troubleshoot and resolve any software issues that arise
• Provide accurate estimates of time to complete shots
• Work collaboratively with other production departments
• Attend weekly creative review sessions

Experience:

• Full knowledge of Maya
• Full knowledge of V-ray lighting
• Experience compositing with Nuke
• Experience compositing with After Effects is a plus
• Experience working on a CG/TV show pipeline is a plus
