Bag Films has opened a 2D Animation Studio in Manchester and is recruiting for
the position of Scene Setup.
Working
in a busy creative environment, the successful candidate will be working on a
52 episode x 11 minute pre-school series for Nickelodeon.
SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:
The position of Scene Setup requires someone with experience
in a similar role or as a Generalist on broadcast or film projects.
Successful applicants will have excellent communication skills,
attention to detail, the ability to work collaboratively with multiple tasks in a fast paced production and have a solid
generalist understanding of Toon Boom Harmony Networked & Digital 2D Animation.
Key
Areas of responsibilities:

Work
closely with the Directors on sequence layout and scene set up.
·
Set up
cameras for shots and layout.
·
Create base render
nodes
Person Specification/Requirements :
·
Must
have an understanding of visual storytelling for layout and composition.
·
Must have a working knowledge of animation and rigging in Toon Boom.
·
Must have a
good sense of pacing and timing in Animation
·
Must have
strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail and quality.
·
Must be able
to work alone and collaboratively, often with multiple tasks and under deadline
pressure.
·
Must be open
to direction and able to embrace change.
