Shipping/Receiving Coordinator

General Summary

The Shipping/Receiving Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to make sure parcels are properly shipped and accounted for the Studio. A portion of this responsibility extends to participation in the overall maintenance of equipment in the Studio. The Coordinator will also provide assistance to the Buyers and Purchasing Department. They must provide outstanding customer service to visitors, vendors and staff at all times.

 Essential Job Functions

  • Ships and receives all packages, mail, interoffice mail and deliveries.
  • Organizes and distributes all delivered purchases and packages.
  • Communicates to all parties when purchases and packages have arrived.
  • Assists Buyers with purchasing requirements.
  • Coordinates the maintenance of studio equipment and vehicles.
  • Manages delivery processes between buildings as required.
  • Assist with daily duties and projects as needed.
  • Run errands for purchasing and department as needed.
  • Responsibly and proactively understands that due to the nature of a production environment, requirements and the need to assume new tasks can occur at any time.

Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent, shipping and receiving, warehouse experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of tools and maintenance requirements.
  • Knowledge of production and entertainment industry, a plus
  • Ability to work well under pressure within given deadlines and handle last minute tasks.
  • Understanding of basic purchasing and accounting principles.
  • Strong collaborator and ability to work well on a team.
  • Willingness to take initiative and resolve problems.
  • Strong communication skills, customer service oriented, and interpersonal skills.
  • Oregon Driver’s License with clean accident & safe driving record.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds.
