POSITION

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:                                                                                            

·         Manage multiple (often short-timeline) design projects from concept through completion. 

·         Supervise and inspire a design team (including staff training, development, and strategy).

·         Lead creative sessions for project kick-offs and post-mortems

·         Review and approve proofs of printed copy and art copy materials.

·         Collaborate with internal teams to generate ideas for pitching and proposals.

·         Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve functional and design challenges and ensure that projects are brand-right, on schedule, and high quality.

·         Inspire colleagues to continuously generate forward-thinking ideas and actively contribute to a culture of innovation and excellence. Help build on our creative legacy and award-winning work. 

·         Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

·         4+ years of senior design or supervisor experience (marketing agency).  Proven track record of excellence in supervising and training staff (organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling) and managing multiple projects from concept to creation. 

·         Undergraduate degree in Fine Arts, related field, or equivalent visual design and management experience required; graduate degree preferred.

·         A strong working knowledge of experience design, brand development, interactive commerce, and creative process.  Ability to pitch design comprehensives with rapid turnaround rate.

·         Expert-level experience creating interface graphics, animations, icons, style sheets, color schemes, templates, and layouts (specifically in advertising and interactive).  Working knowledge of graphic file types, file sizes, resolution, and color palettes.  Must possess superior motion graphics experience (including AE, C4D, Illustrator, and Photoshop).

·         Must be quality-oriented and possess superior knowledge of interactive communications and delivery systems, processes, and industry best practices.  Must apply best practices in user interface and interactive design, including image optimization and site mapping.

·         Interactive advertising/marketing agency, interactive game studio and/or tradeshow/experiential experience, preferred.

·         Medical, healthcare, medical devices and/or pharmaceuticals background, a plus.

·         Must be a strong leader and teammate.  Must be punctual, reliable, flexible, and excellent at balancing multiple detail-oriented projects. 

·         Must have excellent presentation skills and communication skills (written, oral, internal, and client-facing).   

·         Proven ability to plan and execute responsibilities with minimal direction.
