Senior Recruiter

SUMMARY OF POSITION
WB Games Inc. seeks a Senior Recruiter to support all aspects of full cycle/full service recruiting efforts for our multi-project Seattle & Chicago Studios.  In this role, you will engage with business leaders within all discipline areas (art, design, engineering, production, audio, etc.) to ensure all staffing efforts are appropriate to business need and timeline.  As the recruitment subject matter expert, you will coach and mentor business leaders in the use of recruitment best practices that will ensure a top notch candidate experience that attracts top industry talent.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Position is responsible for full scope recruitment for a high volume of professional and some senior level positions, which includes identifying and presenting top qualified candidates to hiring managers.
  • Effective recruitment efforts will be conducted through direct sourcing, industry networking, Internet, resume database, employee referrals, and appropriate trade and industry organizations.
  • Develops, determines and executes recruitment strategies and processes for searches through successful completion.
  • Builds and develops external relationships with talent at all levels within area of industry expertise, introducing top tier and diverse talent into the company prior to there being an active vacancy.
  • Complies with and implements established search execution processes including, but not limited to: Interviewing candidates face-to-face, distributing weekly status reports to hiring managers, providing weekly recruitment reports to HR Reps, conducting effective kick-off meetings, creating job descriptions, updating BrassRing, handling background checks and creating salary justifications.
  • Develops proactive recruitment strategies in close collaboration with business unit senior management and HR Partners.
  • Partners with Manager of Recruitment, HR Group Rep and Compensation in recommending new hire salary offers.
  • Updates Brass Ring on a timely basis to ensure accurate reporting on statistics on time-to- fill, costs, applicant flow, candidate development and source of hire.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional training required.
  • Approximately 5+ years of professional recruiting experience.  A background emanating from an in-house recruitment function desired. Entertainment industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Stays abreast of market trends and tracks the competition.
  • Able to draft / create job descriptions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high volume recruitment activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute full cycle level searches.
  • Must be organized; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and able to anticipate future business needs.
  • Must be able to analyze resumes and determine appropriate matches for vacancies.
  • Must be able to target and source potential candidates for searches.
  • Strong working knowledge with a company-wide recruitment database system, BrassRing, Internet, PeopleSoft-like system, MS Word, Excel, Outlook. Able to learn new computer skills as required.
  • Knowledge of Affirmative Action and EEO guidelines on employee selection and employee relations issues relative to the recruitment process.
