Description
The Motion Coordinator will support all motion jobs from
conception to completion, including having the ability to run projects through
the shop and ensure that all final deliverables are within scope, delivered on
time, and in line with creative expectations. They will be responsible for managing
all traffic for the motion department, facilitating the development of project
schedules, hosting twice-daily scrums, ensuring that team interim deadlines are
being set and met, scheduling internal reviews as well as the release process
for all projects.
The Motion Coordinator will act as a mentor and trainer
for AS personnel within the motion field, refining the process for job
completion and best practices, managing a repository of samples and portfolio
pieces for easy access, and supporting the Director, Motion with scheduling and
even workload distribution when necessary. They will support vendor relations,
ensuring that their costs and time are well managed, documented and continue to
be fruitful partnerships.
