Encore VFX looking for Senior Nuke
Compositors - (Burbank, Vancouver, Atlanta Locations)
Encore VFX is an
Emmy Award Winning Visual Effects Facility, providing outstanding visual
effects work for television and motion picture projects. Some of our past or
current projects include The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, Black
Lightning, Insecure, Narcos, Riverdale, House of Cards, Orange is the New
Black, Sense 8, American Gods, Magicians, etc.

Encore VFX is
looking for Mid/Senior Level Nuke Compositors to work as a freelancer in our
Los Angeles, Vancouver and Atlanta locations. The perfect candidate needs to be
a dependable, team player with a great attitude, and flexible with our fast
turnarounds.
Job Description:
?
Seamlessly integrate the various
layers or elements of a live-action shot
?
Solve problems under tight
deadlines and fast shot turnaround.
?
Strong attention to detail, sense
of color, colorspace and lighting
?
Matte extractions from Blue/Green
screen plates
?
Composite Multi-Pass CG Elements to
create photo real shots.
?
Good understanding of photography
and practical lighting
Job Requirements:
?
A minimum of 5 years of episodic, commercial,
or feature VFX compositing experience.
?
Proficient in all areas of Nuke
?
Clean and efficient script
organization
?
Possess a strong eye for color and
color matching
?
In depth knowledge of compositing
workflow
?
Strong knowledge of the Nuke 3D
Environment and projection mapping
?
Ability to multitask and possess
strong organizational and communication skills
?
Take direction/notes positively and
work well within a team
?
Ability to complete sequences of
shots (for continuity purposes)
?
Experience working with Shotgun
software preferred.
