Regional IC Manager

Description

The position is one that drives Internal Communication strategy across USA and Australia offices. In this position, you will lead a team of IC ambassadors at multiple locations setting the standard for information flow within each of our locations and creating streamline methods to improve internal communications.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Establishing strong partnership with key stakeholders in the regions to define and execute the communication strategy for the US and Australia offices
  • Being the advocate and ambassador of Internal Communications strategy in the region
  • Identifying the regional offices needs and work closely with the regional leadership and teams to improve the quality of internal communication
  • Managing and tracking the work of the local communications team, providing leadership and coaching.
  • Defining and setting priorities for the team.
  • Develop and maintain the regional editorial roadmap based on global editorial priorities and local needs.
  • Ensure regular news and information flow through internal communication channels.
  • Establish a good network of content contributors.
  • Adapt global internal communications campaigns and strategies to the regional needs.
  • Collaborate closely with the Global Internal Communications Team.
  • Be the ambassador of the Internal Communications vision, ensuring that all communications submitted by the Regional IC team are aligned to the Global Internal Communications strategy in terms of messaging, style and tone of voice.
  • Manage the Regional Internal Communications Budget.
  • Identify and develop new initiatives to drive innovation in the Regional Internal Communications Department.
  • Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of the organizations mission.
  • Specifically, support improving management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning. 

Essential Position Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Russian is a plus)
  • Excellent editorial skills
  • Strong previous experience in talent acquisition and building highly effective teams.
  • Excellent demonstrated management and leadership capabilities.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar leadership position, at least 3 which spent supervising a team in a writing capacity.
  • Strong previous experience in talent acquisition and building highly effective teams.

Skills: 

  • Demonstrated skills in being a strategic thinker.
  • Strong diplomatic and organizational, as well as project management skills.
  • Team player with a high level of self-organization and collaborate approach.
