PR/Social Media Manager
Description
This position is an individual contributor that manages and executes public relations activities for campaigns that sustain a specific image for Wargaming America, Inc. and its products. Contributor will also plan and execute social media strategy and support for all Wargaming products.
Essential Job Functions:
Public Relations
- Manage specific Wargaming products and communicate PR goals and strategies to publishing team.
- Create, edit and distribute media alerts, press releases, interviews and additional press materials.
- Manage and build relationships with gaming, tech and consumer media.
- Align with Production, Community, Marketing and global teams to support product updates and events.
- Arrange and pitch product previews, reviews and features.
- Book and organize media appointments for trade shows and press tours.
- Assist in creating and maintaining media and influencer database.
- Monitor and track daily product and company coverage.
Social Media
- Develop and implement social media strategy across all Wargaming Twitter handles in North America.
- Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video and written).
- Engage with new and existing social media followers.
- Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts.
- Design, create and manage promotional campaigns and giveaways.
- Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of Social Media campaigns. Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
Essential Position Requirements:
Education:- BS/BA in professional writing/editing or equivalent experience
Experience:- Typically has 4 to 6 years of progressively complex related experience
