DIRECTOR OF USER ACQUISITION, MOBILE

Who We Are:  

Over the past 11 years, 2K has established a rich heritage for publishing some of the biggest franchises in gaming. This includes blockbuster titles such as NBA 2K, Borderlands, BioShock, WWE 2K, Civilization, XCOM, and more. Our Mobile Marketing Team is a small group at the hub of all things mobile, working across many teams inside 2K and with external developers, agencies and partners. What We Need: 

A results-driven marketing and analytics wiz to work with 2K’s amazing IP and bring it to the mobile gaming space. We want to engage and entertain our consumers in different ways beyond their console and PC experiences. We need someone who is a proven expert in user acquisition mobile marketing for big known IP, and has existing relationships in the space. This is a great opportunity to lead a team, define strategy and make a real difference, all while working on great games.

You will lead 2K’s Mobile marketing efforts, responsible for building a holistic approach for how to reach, acquire and re-engage players and drive installs.  You will work with 2K brand teams and developers to extend our IP in to the mobile space and engage current customers and new audiences with our mobile products globally. This includes budget ownership and accountability to deliver measurable returns to the company. The scope is across the entire 2K Mobile portfolio of games including brands like NBA 2K, WWE 2K, XCOM, Borderlands, Civilization, and Mafia.

Job Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Drive acquisition and engagement strategy and manage execution for all 2K mobile games globally
  • Build ad tech, analytics and reporting roadmap and requirements to grow acquisition and engagement
  • Lead internal and external teams including media buyers and strategists
  • Own global budgeting decisions across portfolio of games
  • Develop best practices and define key KPIs for managing success
  • Build strong relationships with internal studios, brand marketing, creative, and analytics teams
  • Own and build strong relationships with key external partners including first parties
  • Drive post launch and lifecycle plans, including optimizing monetization over product lifecycles
  • Serve as an internal expert on the mobile space for incorporation into integration with large brand releases
  • Monitor market developments and drive product developments accordingly
  • Work with product marketing teams to manage schedule and budget, dependencies, and for asset creation
  • Develop, communicate, and maintain tracking reports and schedules that are effective at informing the broad stakeholder teams

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience in mobile required, with experience in user acquisition and customer engagement
  • Strong analytical skills, experience manipulating and using large datasets
  • Experience in developing and implementing attribution and LTV models
  • Deep familiarity with ad tech and tracking space
  • Strong relationship and communication skills
