Founded in 2005, 2K develops and publishes interactive entertainment globally for console systems, handheld gaming systems and personal computers, including smartphones and tablets, which are delivered through physical retail, digital download, online platforms and cloud streaming services. 2K publishes titles in today’s most popular gaming genres, including shooters, action, role-playing, strategy, sports, casual, and family entertainment.

What We Need:
2K is seeking a part-time receptionist who is full of personality, charisma and charm, and who loves the video game industry as much as we do! Our Front Desk Receptionist serves as the initial contact for all visitors and employees at our 2K Novato headquarters. This is a part-time, temporary position. We are looking for someone who is available three days per week during regular business hours.

The ideal candidate should be energetic, personable, outgoing and able to create a welcoming and warm environment. He / she will be the main contact for all visitors, ensuring that the flow of the front lobby is at a constant smooth pace, and that every visitor is greeted and well taken care of.

Job Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Meet and greet all visitors, create a welcoming and warm environment, determine their needs and direct them to the appropriate employee or location
  • Point person for Facilities ticket / request tracking system. Review, assign and prepare reports on all open / closed / unassigned tickets, and reply back to requestors regarding ticket status
  • Manage multiple Outlook conference room calendars. Prepare and maintain meeting and conference room reservation schedules and bookings; circulates schedule to appropriate staff
  • Assist with coordination of meetings including, but not limited to: preparing meeting rooms, ordering food, and beverage service.
  • Maintain current vendor contact list
  • Create, maintain, and track vendor invoices in Excel
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to office and Human Resources team when needed
  • Perform general clerical duties including, but not limited to: filing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing as required
  • Assist with ordering and maintaining office supplies
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues
  • Works with the recruiting team to ensure all candidates are taken care of when they arrive for interviews
  • Collaborate with peers to refine support processes and procedures
  • Assist weekly vendors with orders, sign-offs, etc.
  • Make sure that visitors complete appropriate paperwork
  • Provide informational emails to company (events, weekly lunch menu, etc.)
  • Order and take inventory of company games as needed
  • Assemble and submit expense reports

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, and 3+ years related experience
  • Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook (email and calendar)
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to deal effectively with a diverse group of individuals at all organizational levels
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience in customer service is a plus
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
    • Sit for prolonged periods
    • Perform some repetitive motion activities
    • Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
    • Lift and move up to 40 pounds
  • Experience and knowledge in the gaming industry a is a big plus (but not a requirement)
