Who We Are:
2K publishes some of the most popular video game franchises on the planet including Borderlands, BioShock, NBA 2K, WWE 2K, Mafia, XCOM, and Sid Meier’s Civilization. The Communications Team is comprised of experienced professionals working together and across the company to create innovative social media and PR campaigns for 2K’s latest games.
What We Need:
2K’s Communications team is currently looking for a Community Associate to assist the Community team with a wide variety duties and reporting across multiple brands. Our ideal candidate is a driven individual with an excellent attention to detail and impeccable work ethic. The ideal Community Associate is comfortable taking direction, meeting deadlines, working with multiple teams across many departments and knows where gamers congregate.
Job Responsibilities Will Include:
Work with Community Managers to assist in day-to-day activities and direct engagement across all brand communities, as well as provide timely reports to the Communications department. The Community Associate will help stage and publish blog posts across multiple languages and territories, input messaging and schedule videos, proofread and edit messaging for owned social media channels, research and track New Media creators, raise issues reported on social media to our Customer Service team, curate community content such as videos and fan art, facilitate giveaways on our owned channels and provide analysis of competitor social media and community initiatives. The Community Associate will also respond directly to fans on owned social media channels, within forum communities and overall play an essential role in the tactical execution of community initiatives at 2K.

Minimum Requirements:
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or at least two years of relevant work experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with professional / commercial use of social media platforms along with supporting applications, such as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Reddit, Twitch, and Instagram
- Proficient in using PowerPoint / Excel / Word
- Familiarity with Photoshop or equivalent image editing software
- Knowledge and play experience of recent and past 2K titles is a plus
- Knowledge and experience with a variety of console, PC, and tablet game titles is a plus
- Livestream production, video editing and any programming skills are not required, but are a huge plus!
