Summary:
To provide
students with the knowledge and skills necessary to obtain an entry-level
employment in their chosen field of study by utilizing teaching skills,
experience, and abilities to create a positive, nurturing and effective
learning environment in an effort to actively retain and successfully
graduate students from their program of study.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promote a teaching-learning environment that assures students academic
achievement.
- Post students grades directly into the Student Portal and submit final
grades to the Registrar and/or
Academic Department.
- Staying updated on the expertise of its specialty and particularly
those related to the dictates courses and online mode. The Instructor must complete
and submit evidence of not less than eight (8) hours of formal activities /
professional development per year. The number of hours may vary by department
and specialty.
- Maintain an open and respectful communication with students and the
Institution.
- Provide students with adequate guidance regarding academic excellence
and attendance.
- The instructor must participate in the Faculty Meeting offered at the
beginning of each term either virtual or traditional mode, as well as of regular
meetings of Virtual School department, training, workshops, and surveys end
of the year.
- The instructor must access daily by e-mail to receive reports, communications
and reminders of important events.
- Use the methods, strategies, techniques and procedures that are most
effective, appropriate and innovative teaching and learning of the subject offered
for each course by the Instructor, considering the different learning styles
of students and other modern theories of teaching and learning.
- Evaluate and adequately demonstrate the academic progress of their
students through the preparation, administration and correction of exams. The
Instructor will have four days to communicate the evaluation of the students
tasks.
- Have exams, assignments, and other assessments available for review via
Canvas.
- Actively collaborate in the Institutional retention efforts.
- Carefully prepare each of their classes according to the handbook/syllabus.
If necessary, the Instructor will develop a Thematic Draft using the handbook/syllabus
as a basis and publish it on the platform prior to the start of classes.
- Recommends to the students the acquisition of information and resources
needed for the enrichment of each course. Maintain effective communication
with librarians to ensure that students use the recommended continuous and
adequate resources.
- Attend all the Virtual Faculty meetings, and actively participate in
the signed teams/committees to contribute with the Instructor’s expertise, training, experience and effort
to promote the development of programs, students, services and the
institution.
- Collaborate in the planning and production of those activities or
documents that are necessary for the successful conduct of the accreditation
process of the institution and licenses.
- Attend and participate in graduation ceremonies, which represent the
culmination of efforts by institutional academic development of their
students and which are an integral part of academic and institutional work.

Education/Experience:
- A Bachelor degree and at least 18
credits in Digital Arts, Motion Graphics, Design or Fine Art, or related
field, or a Master’s degree and at least 18 credits in Digital Arts, Motion
Graphics, Design or Fine Art or related field among undergraduate and/or
graduate courses, or a Master’s degree in Digital Arts, Motion Graphics,
Design or Fine Art or a Bachelor degree in Digital Arts, Motion
Graphics, Design or Fine Art or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in
Graphic Design or Motion Graphics developing high quality graphics,
illustrations and animations using graphic software tools.
- Expertise in one or more areas
including but not limited to: graphic design, interactive design, industrial
design, web, motion graphics, art and/or animation.
- Extensive knowledge in foundation
design practices and theory, such as drawing, color theory & typography.
- Knowledge of digital design
technologies as they relate to current practices in Graphics and Art.
- Knowledge of current trends relevant
to professional practices in the field
- Demo Reel Required.
- Strong grasp of graphic design,
typography, layout and animation theory.
- Demo Reel required.

Technical Skills and Requirements
- Highly proficient in After Effects, Cinema 4D,
Industry standard Plug-Ins and Photoshop and Technical Visual effects.
- Experience working with Chroma key footage and
motion-mapping.
- Working knowledge of storyboarding.
- Experience in a wide variety of styles.
- Proficient with all Adobe Creative Suite.
