Senior Motion Editor

Description

Imaginarium Studios is looking for a Senior Motion Editor for a short term contract with an immediate start. 

The requirements for the role are:
- Responsible for Editing body motion of captured performances and integrating motion elements into the shot or 3D environment.
 
Editing Motion includes:
-Adjusting interaction and contacts between characters/props/environment/terrain.
-Adhering to the performance of the actors using non-destructive modification of motion to work with the requirements of the sequence.
-Understanding of solving and retargeting motion from one character to another.
         
Skills:
-Ability to catch, analyze and identify technical issues.
-Sharp eyes for motion, timing and posture.

-Solid understanding of the principles of Animation
-Background in using Motionbuilder
-Background in using Linux and experience with Nuance and Giant software is a plus     
  
Experience Required:
- 5+ Years in high end film vfx and a showreel that demonstrates this.
- All applicants must have a high level of attention to detail and good communication skills.
