3D Mobile Software Engineer

Description

What you’ll do:

• Prototype new user experiences involving 3D graphics, including experiences that require visual understanding of the scene
• Bring the most innovative product concepts to life to help push the boundaries of mobile user experience and interface design across a new category of computer vision products
• Investigate and solve exciting and difficult challenges in image recognition, classification, and augmented reality
• Design, develop, deploy and document features and integrate 3rd party and internal APIs
• Cross platform computer vision library development, integration and support
• Work with internal teams and other designers to test prototypes in real world scenarios, take in feedback and iterate
• Contribute ideas and technology to a cross-company product development effort

We're looking for someone who:

• A passion for mobile Android and iOS
• Strong experience in 3D modeling, either in computer vision,  graphics , mobile gaming.
• A good understanding of how data layout and algorithm design affect performance.
• Ability to work well in fast-paced environment with constant context switches
• A passion for new challenges

Desired Experience:

• Amazing coding ability in C and C++
• Good understanding of 3D mathematics and/or graphics APIs would be ideal.
• 5+ years of experience in designing, building and shipping high quality products
• An active Snapchatter
