As a Content Manager, you will be one of the creative thought leaders tasked with helping the look of NBA 2K best-in-class consumer facing marketing. We’re looking for someone who’s versed in online media and graphic design that also can manage communication between various agencies, internal and external departments to help grow the business. We’re looking for someone organized and a self-starter. Who We Are:
At 2K, our goal is simple: make AAA games that are the best in the genre and have fun doing it. We proudly develop the critically acclaimed NBA 2K series, the best basketball video game franchise on the planet.  The NBA 2K Team is comprised of experienced marketing professionals, exceptional communications team and content creators working together to create memorable promotional campaigns for NBA 2K’s latest offering.

What We Need:
2K is looking for an experienced content manager – someone that has worked on high-profile online marketing campaigns for consumer products, and has the knowhow to make an impact on one of 2K’s biggest franchises. As an individual contributor within a multidisciplinary team, you will create content for the NBA 2K franchise, as well as help come up with messaging to it’s large community. Your suggestions will be vital in affecting how we market and develop various game modes inside and out.

Job Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Creative thinker tasked with helping grow the NBA 2K Business
  • Work with content team to create online / console assets for banner, email, social media, landing pages, and in game campaigns that are impactful visual assets to communicate new content
  • Work with 2K Web and Social Media teams on distributing announcements from brand pages and managing website
  • Offer suggestions to development on new in-game content packs based on analysis and relevant basketball topics
  • Work with media agency on advertising strategy (OOH, online, experiential, etc.)

Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit:
If you’re an outgoing, self-motivated, and experienced content manager, you might be the right fit for 2K’s multidisciplinary team. You’ll have interest in and experience being a key contributor to product marketing campaigns, and will thrive on working autonomously on your portion of the broader company plan.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university
  • Passion for NBA 2K games (console and mobile) and digital entertainment is preferred
  • Strong understanding of current events in the NBA
  • Solid portfolio of online creative/marketing campaigns
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and work to strict deadlines within a fast paced environment
  • Proficient in both working with constructive feedback and explaining design rationale to fit a communication hierarchy
  • Understanding in elements of web design
  • Previous job experience handling microtransaction marketing is preferred
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Strong communication skill with a team-first attitude
