South Park - Storyboard Artist

Description

“South Park” is looking for a passionate, artistic, and imaginative Storyboard Artist to produce storyboards with excellent storytelling and drawing capabilities.  2-3 years experience preferred in feature films, TV, or video games.  Only candidates living in the Los Angeles area will be considered.  Local interested applicants should apply with a resume with a link to reel, portfolio, animatic, and story.    

Summary and duties:

·      Works with the lead and other artists to produce storyboards from scripts or other sources to be used in animatics or in still form.

·      To produce storyboards for projects that are being developed simultaneously.

·      To provide assistance with visual development when necessary.

Secondary skills:

·      Visual development skills a plus (character design, background design, and similar.)

·      Able to produce animatics in After Effects and Premiere a plus.

Qualifications:

·      Experience with Storyboard Pro and Adobe Creative Suite.

·      Must be able to work alone and collaboratively, often with multiple tasks and under deadline pressure.

·      Must be open to direction and able to embrace change.

·      A good knowledge of film history and understanding of the film language.
