Cloud Imperium Games is a fast-paced video gaming company on the cutting edge of technology. We release linear content on a daily basis to our growing fan base – everything from behind-the-scenes videos on the creation of the game to Q&A with our developers and other exciting content. This is all hosted on our website, YouTube channel, and livestream as well.
We are looking for an experienced Video Producer to supervise and execute production and delivery for all of our weekly video content. You will own program development, budgets and schedules, plan productions, recruit talent, solve production and post-production problems, and deliver a finished product in appropriate formats on time and on budget. This will require a deep understanding of production of various program types and delivery cadences, and an ability to work with a small internal team leveraging external partners to deliver high quality results.

Responsibilities:
* Lead selected projects through all phases of production including creative development, pre-production, production/shooting, post-production, finishing/delivery.
* Conceive, shoot, run sound, write, edit and produce video content.
* Deliver video projects on schedule and within budget.
* Effectively communicate ongoing project status with video production team.
* Stay abreast of new trends in content and technology in the gaming and video production communities and suggest new ways to implement these trends/technologies.
Requirements
* At least 3 years’ experience managing scripted, television budgets, schedules and teams.
* Experience with daily or weekly scripted production.
* Ability to lead video production teams or contractors both locally and remotely.
* Experience with production of digital/internet video content.
* Network of contacts in production and production related services and a demonstrated ability to recruit talent.
* Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple projects efficiently in a fast paced environment while delivering outstanding results.
* Deep familiarity with creation of both long and short form video content and daily/weekly/ad-hoc production cadences.
* Strong attention to detail and written communication skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with artists and all levels of the organization.
* Knowledge of video gaming and in particular Star Citizen is a plus.
