Junior Technical Animator - Frankfurt

Foundry 42 Frankfurt is looking for a Junior Technical Animator to work on our in game Cinematics and scripted events for Squadron 42.

The Junior Technical Animator will be responsible for the correct technical implementation of character animations. In close cooperation with the Design, Tech Art and Cinematic teams they will work on implementing the existing pipelines and working with the development tools to assist and expedite animation implementation and creation.

Responsibilities:

Implement in-game animations as an integral part of the asset delivery pipelines
Works with Concept, Design, and Art team to collaboratively bring characters to life
Maintain and Support technical animation pipelines and tools to deliver cutting edge animations
Maintain and Support automated animation setups
Implement how elements within projects will interact, build, transition and function from the concept stage to final implementation
Implement animations in CryEngine Mannequin system and follow through with testing and implementing into game with level designers
Support Animators and Cinematic designers in implementing animations into game

Requirements:

Basic Knowledge of Maya and character animation
Experience with working with Game-Engine
Basic understanding of character pipelines
Self-driven, responsible and detail-oriented
Passion for computer games
Ability to Follow Direction
Ability to adapt to new technologies
Team player

Pluses:

Knowledge of Cryengine
Experience in other scripting and programming languages (XML, MaxScript, MEL , Python, Lua)
Experience working with state machines
