FINANCE REPORTING ANALYST

2K is filled with some of the brightest minds in the game business; we have delivered NBA2K, WWE2K, Civilization, Borderlands, Bioshock, and XCOM, among other games. The 2K finance team is geared to making sure that the data needs of these teams are met, by reacting quickly, accurately and personably in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

What We Need:

The 2K finance team is looking for a proactive individual who has the ability to interact with all levels of management, both clearly and concisely. This person will in a short time have a strong understanding of all 2K financial systems and processes and play a key role in providing financial reporting to all of 2K’s internal teams.

Job Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Produce, analyse, validate, and distribute financial reporting information to Department and Studio heads
  • Research and prepare variance analysis on both the sales and opex forecasts and provide feedback and explanations to the relevant stakeholder groups
  • Coordinate with various internal teams, review and load studio headcount allocations to projects, reconcile and load new hires, terminations, temps and open positions into the system and actual headcount to titles
  • Monthly load of virtual currency, ancillary revenue, opex and Fixed Assets reforecasts
  • Metadata maintenance (New title codes, projects & contracts settings)
  • Coordinate the annual budget process and deliverables
  • Work with end users to define requirements for new reporting and also develop solutions to ad-hoc analytical and reporting requests as they come up, while utilizing available tools and technologies

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, Accounting or Finance degree a plus
  • 3-5 years’ experience in analysis, experience in FP&A role preferred
  • Experience with Finance and Financial systems
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency—Hyperion, OBI, JDE and Excel Retrieve capabilities preferred
