Assistant Professor of Cinema/Television
Description
Regent University’s College of Arts & Sciences is seeking to fill a
full-time, tenure-track faculty position.
Qualifications: An earned PhD or
MFA in film or television from a regionally accredited institution. Experience in the discipline is preferred. The
successful candidate will have teaching experience in film and television
production and be able to situate film and television programming into wider
cultural, industrial, economic and spiritual contexts.
Expectations include:1) a
dedication to Christ-centered teaching and learning; 2) a record of or
potential for academic scholarship; 3) the ability to teach undergraduate-level
and graduate-level courses; and 4) a willingness to embrace the College and
University Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to a statement of
Christian faith.
