WHY DOES THIS ROLE EXIST?
Sparx* is seeking one Rigging
Team Leader who will handle technical aspects of character creation such as pipeline
concerns, assets built with optimum efficiency and creation of advanced shaders
and asset integration. Should have good leadership qualities and be able to
lead a team. Work closely with other departments to determine the assets' technical specifications. Able to
thrive under the pressure of a deadline driven environment.
HOW WILL YOU CREATE IMPACT?
Supervise and mentor the rigging team
Build a core TD team on cloth and hair
Handle communication with clients on rigging topics
WHO
YOU ARE
At least 5 years of experience as character Rigger or character TD on TV
animated show or feature movie
At least 2 years of experience at a Lead position
Perfect knowledge of Maya rigging/dynamics solution and tools
Perfect knowledge of Character modeling/rigging workflow and process
Perfect communication skills
Fluency in English
Fluency in Vietnamese or French is a plus
Good knowledge of scripting (MEL/Python/PyMel)
Good knowledge of cloth rigging and dynamic
Good team management skills
Good knowledge of hair system dynamic and rigging is a plus
Good knowledge of crowd simulation and IA is a plus
Knowledge of rigging in 3DSMax is a plus
*1-year contract / Work at Studio in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam.
