Help Desk Assistant

Description

In this entry level IT position, you will interface with hiring managers to create requests to provision technology, software, and access for new associates. 

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the provisioning of new hire hardware and software assets.
  • Includes functions in support of end user needs when onboarding.
  • Includes support of hardware and software provisioning for existing employees.
  • May include support of low-level network issues, such as password set-up and resets.
  • Provides clear concise communication with individuals
  • Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific IT projects.
  • Provides project support to IT managers and staff.
  • Provides support for IT asset management and asset audits
  • Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
  • Has the ability to work in a fast and expanding environment. 
Requirements:
  • Lifting requirement up to 50 lbs. 
  • Help Desk Service Experience 6 - 12 months
  • Basic understanding of hardware troubleshooting and repair 
  • Advanced understanding of Windows
  • Will need to regularly use MS excel and other (internal) systems to request accesses/software.
  • Degree preferred or applicable professional experience
