Senior Nuke Compositors - Vancouver

CoSA VFX is looking for SENIOR NUKE COMPOSITORS with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in TV and motion picture VFX for its Vancouver office.
Our company is a fast-paced and highly collaborative production environment. Recent projects include
The Conjuring 2, Gotham and Lucifer.
Applicants must be based in or willing to relocate to Vancouver and
available for an in-person or Skype interview. While we prefer candidates
who were a BC Resident in 2016, and eligible to work in Canada, we will also be
offering LMIAs for some positions. Wages range, based on
experience. Please include rate history, availability and current status in
Canada in the body of your cover letter.
They should possess:
* A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in photo-real VFX for episodic television and motion pictures.
* High-level knowledge of Nuke, VFX color pipelines and VFX production process, with experience compositing multi-layer EXR CG, set extensions and FX elements.
* Ability to finish shots independently on a tight episodic TV schedule. Also to work effectively as a part of team collaborating on larger sequences.
* Ability to solve creative problems using simple, efficient techniques, share ideas with teammates, and iterate rapidly based on client notes.
* Working knowledge of Python, TCL, JavaScript a big plus.
