Purpose of the
job:
The Quality Assurance Engineer will
develop and execute exploratory tests as well as automated tests in order to
ensure product quality. The QA Engineer will estimate, plan, and coordinate testing
activities. This position will also ensure that quality issues and defects
are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved in our defect
tracking system.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Build efficient test plans to record and communicate
our testing efforts
- Execute exploratory tests against native and web
applications to find defects
- Give written and verbal assessments on the quality of
individual products
- Help track and catalog test devices for native testing
- Build test data for running exploratory and automated
tests
- Assist development in recreating customer reported
issues
- Builds tools and scripts to support test and
development
- Provide feedback to design and development as a voice
of the customer
- Review and provide feedback on product documentation
- Continuously look for new ways to improve product
quality

Education,
Experience, and Skills Required:
- Experience working with interpreted languages (JS preferred)
- 3+ years as a software developer or tester
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Working Conditions and Environment/Physical Demands:
- Hours for
this position are based on normal working hours but will require extra hours
pending production needs
- Walking/bending/sitting
|
