Business Development Manager

Description

We are looking for a competitive Business Development Manager who has knowledge of the production and animation industry to develop sales strategies and attract new clients in a well established animation company. You will source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve quotas.
The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads and qualifying prospects.
Responsibilities
• Reach out to, meet with potential clients and close deals for gaming, animation, TV, feature, infomercial, educational and advertising clients for Neko Productions services—3D animation, 2D animation, modeling, rigging, texturing, lighting and compositing, concept design, storyboarding and visual development
• Forecast sales, develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness
• Evaluate customers needs and build productive long lasting relationships
• Meet personal and team sales targets• Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads
• Attend meetings, sales events and training to keep abreast of the latest developments• Report and provide feedback to management using financial statistical data
• Maintain and expand client database within an assigned territory
Requirements
• Proven sales experience
• Extensive connections in the gaming and animation industries
• Track record of over-achieving quota
• Experience working with information tracking databases (like File maker)
• Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
• Computer use competency
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Self motivated and driven
• BA/BS degree or equivalent
