Generalist Developer/TD (Commercials & VR)
Purpose of the job:
This role provides support and development
for the Commercials and VR, leveraging and extending existing pipeline to
meet evolving requirements.
- Work with Commercials
and VR Pipeline Supervisors as well as Project Supervisors to identify,
promote and extend existing tools applicable to these domains.
- Assist artists with
troubleshooting and general pipeline support.
- Ensure software
development follows studio policies and guidelines.
- Work closely with other
Technical Directors and Pipeline to ensure that the needs of the Commercials
and VR are understood.
Education and/or Experience
- Production experience
in computer animation, visual effects, or game industry.
- Experience with tool
integration into existing or new pipelines.
- Experience with Maya,
Houdini, Nuke or other 3rd Party Animation systems.
- Proficiency in Python,
as well as a general understanding of software development principles and
- Familiarity with game
engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine a plus.
- Experience with C++, and
one or more relevant DCC APIs a plus.
- Ability to establish
priorities, and work independently or within a group
- Excellent Communication
skills in dealing with both technical and artistic groups.

are based on normal working hours but will require extra hours pending
