Full Time Position
Synergy Blue is looking for a QA Tester that takes pride in their work and has a passion for the gaming field. As a QA tester, you will have an integral role with the quality assurance testing aspect here at Synergy Blue. You will work closely with team leads and developers to find bugs, execute testing plans and provide clear feedback to the development team. Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and has a passion and proven experience producing high quality games.
This role offers a wide variety of challenges to solve and explore related to innovative slot game-play concepts, networked gaming, and finding creative ways to meet the demands of players around the globe.
Required Skills & Experience:
· 1+ years of experience with QA Testing required
· Entry level programming knowledge skills
· Experience with Unity 3D
· Previous professional software development experience
· Agile and Test Driven Development or Scrum
· Demonstrates strong collaboration skills, working side-by-side among disciplines with varying levels of technical understanding
· You take pride in your work and have attention to detail
· Strong problem solving skill, Self-motivated and team-orientated
· Good understanding of test methodologies, test plan organization and technical requirements
· Entry level scripting knowledge
Nice to Have:
· Experience with various aspects of game programming (3D, UI, gameplay, sound, physics, rendering, etc.) a definite plus
· Knowledge of additional game engines such as Unreal Engine, etc.
· Experience with Network Architecture and serve side development
Responsibilities:
· Ensure the highest quality standards are meet by efficiently testing all aspects of the game
· Organize and sustain a bug database, with thorough written comprehension in all reports
· Maintain the hardware capabilities, functionality and performance of the games
· Natural curiosity and an enthusiasm for
finding bugs
