Senior Environment Artist

We have openings for Senior Environment Artists. This position will be located in Burbank, CA.

SUMMARY:

They will work closely with VFX Supervisor and VFX Producer in achieving the highest creative and technical standards of work.  Implementations, 2D backdrops, textured elements/fixes or complex 2.5D/3D projections.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Knowledge of 3ds Max
Knowledge of Nuke and Photoshop. Knowledge of Vray a plus.
Strong knowledge of compositing workflow and other major aspects of post-production.
Work with CG Supervisor to determine overall approach required for each environment.
Working within studio best practices, follow guidelines, and keep scenes clean and organized.
Prioritize and revise work based on direction from supervisors.
Meet project milestones and deadlines on time.
Collaborate with other artists to share knowledge and techniques.

REQUIREMENTS:

Ideal candidate will have 5+ years industry experience in commercials, film or TV with an understanding of multiple aspects of the VFX pipeline.
