Job Description:
Reporting to the technical manager of the studio and working in team with two junior system and network administrators and one IT / broadcast support, your main tasks will be:
Responsibilities:
• Linux servers’ system management (CentOS / Redhat)
• Operating the business directory (Open LDAP)
• Maintain leading operating virtualisation platforms (OVirt, KVM)
• Orchestration of Linux configurations (Puppet, Foreman)
• Monitoring of system activities and log files
• Assume the installation, the configuration and the maintenance of the equipment and software as well as the support of level 2 and 3.
• Maintaining inventories hardware/software/licenses
• Monitor the network load / activities, detect issues and implement solutions
• Writing procedures and operation and supply / administration documentation
• Follow up and conduct projects of integration of system and network
Qualifications:
• +5 years of experience in network and system administration
• Mandatory competencies in Directory service (LDAP, SSSD) and Ovirt, DNS (bind) / DHCP, Samba PDC, Open LDAP, AD
• Mastery of network protocols ( TCP / IP) and of network switching equipment
• In-depth technical knowledge of storage infrastructures NAS
• Technical knowledge of firewalling equipment (VPN, routing, DMZ, NAT)
• Bilingual (English and French)
• Knowledge of Scripting Bash and Python would be a plus
• Must be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada and available to work in Montreal, Quebec
