Summary: Responsible for fulfilling all photographic requests from every department in Universal Orlando Resort. Creating, supervising and controlling intake, documenting, cataloging, storage and retrieval of all current and historical digital assets, ensuring all assets contain copy right, third party approvals, brand, and current model releases before sending out. Maintain digital workflow during photo shoots, establishing protocol for input and back up of all work. Continuous updating of photo data base for easy retrieval. Retouching images, creating 360 degree movies and ride compositions, panoramic photos and formatting for advertising and marketing purposes.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Digital Asset Management
  • Creates, Supervises and controls work flow for intaking, annotating, cataloguing, storage and retrieval of digital assets such as digital photographs, artist renderings, line art, logos and animations. Sets protocol for downloading, renaming, backing up, rating, grouping, archiving, optimizing, maintaining and retrieval of copyrighted and intellectual properties.
  • Scans files to digital format for importing to digital archive.
  • Maintains digital workflow during photo shoots by controlling and establishing protocol for inputting imagery and backup of all work to ensure no loss of assets.
  • Manages the photographic library using Extensis Portfolio by updating software and key images for quick searching using embedded information, IPCT and XMP info to key words.
• Photographic Retouching
  • Applies image editing techniques to photographs such as digital photographic retouching, photo-merge and panoramic multiple image layering in order to create final approved images.
  • Formats images to achieve proper color, density and resolution to ensure quality of images for use in Advertising.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design preferred.

EXPERIENCE: 5+ years’ experience in using photography software; Adobe Creative Suite CS6 (Photoshop & Illustrator are required). Stitcher Unlimited, Fluid Mask3, Capture, Quark, Lightroom 2, Extenses Portfolio, Photo Mechanic, Genuine Fractals, PT Gui, Bryce 5, Dreamweaver and Panoramic software is a plus.
