WHO WE ARE
We’re a mobile entertainment studio based on the Westside of Los Angeles and only a 15 minute walk to the beach. Our founders are veterans who’ve honed their craft over decades of industry experience including senior leadership roles at EA, Sony, Zynga & Blizzard. We’re currently hard at work on Racing Rivals -- the most exciting racing game on the market where you put it all on the line for pinks.
We’re looking for other driven and talented folks who love building product as much as we do. Experience matters, but that’s only part of what makes someone a critical part of the team.
HOW YOU FIT IN
You’re a driven and dedicated Client Software Engineer who’s excited to work on our live title Racing Rivals, as well as other super-secret projects. At Carbonated you’ll be part of a team of other gifted individual contributors, including Designers, Artists, Engineers and Product managers, all lead by mobile executives who’ve shipped multiple top grossing hits and operated large scale live services with tens of millions of DAU.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Design & develop client game features and systems
Maintain, implement, test and debug code
Monitor, tune and optimize performance
Help improve the team's technical knowledge and capabilities
WHAT’S REQUIRED
2+ years software development experience
Strong math skills with emphasis on 3D math
Strong knowledge of C#
Experience with Obj-C and/or Swift, and Java
Ability and drive to contribute and advance all aspects of a game
Experience with object-oriented design & implementation
Able to break-down complex objectives into specific tasks
Proficient in Agile/Scrum development
EXTRA CREDIT
Experience developing games in Unity, Unreal, Lumberyard

Car game experience a massive bonus, car enthusiast a major plus
