Responsibilities :

 

Position is located at Universal Studios Hollywood and is responsible for the development and implementation of specific elements of assigned attraction designs, as directed by the teams A&E lead, into sketches, working drawings, models or other specified design deliverables. Accomplished through many different methods, including, but not limited to: participating in facility design sessions, sketches, POVs, renderings, 3D models, illustrations, plans, sections and elevations. Will work by hand and in various CAD applications including but not limited to AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, SketchUp, Maya, 3D Studio Max.& 

Partners closely with the various Engineers, designers and facility design managers in maintaining a cohesive design in all elements associated with assigned projects through all phases of development.  

Contributes to the development of appropriate project presentations intended for both internal and external audiences to communicate project concept, content and status.

Assists in facilitating project correspondence with appropriate internal and external partners, licensors, and intellectual property developers.

 

Qualifications/Requirements :

 

Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university in: Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management is required.

Hand and Computer drawing, and drafting skills required. Experience with AUTOCAD, Revit, Solidworks or similar program required. Knowledge of Sketch Up, or, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator preferred.

Having building Integration Modeling (BIM) experience is a must.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
